Professor Allen-Mersh attended a talk at the Medico-Legal Society on 9th June entitled “Educational Implication of Negligence Assessment” and also attended a meeting on “Innovation and Improvement in Patient Safety” at the Royal Society of Medicine on 10th June. On 22nd June he attended an Association of Personal Injury Lawyers Medical Negligence Course www.apil.org.uk.

On 14th April Professor Allen-Mersh attended a talk at the Royal Society of Medicine entitled Identifying and Embedding Learning from Claims and Inquests. He attended a skills teaching session at St Mary’s Hospital on 5th May. There was a visit to Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust at the University Hospital Lewisham on 17th May and a talk on The Future of Medicine – the Role of Doctors in 2015 at the Royal Society of Medicine on 19th May.
