Our current first appointment for a face-to-face appointment is in October 2022. Remote (telephone) appointments can be arranged within 3-4 weeks of instructions being received. All reports can then be provided within 2-3 weeks of the appointment date.

Liability & causation reports (not involving an appointment) can be prepared within 6 weeks of receipt of all documentation.

Currently there is a 5-6 week waiting list for appointments, and reports can be provided within 2-3 weeks of the appointment date.

Liability & causation reports can be prepared within 6 weeks of receipt of all documentation.

    Professor Allen-Mersh has edited two text books of surgery, and contributed chapters to more than 20 textbooks of surgery, cancer and gastrointestinal disorders. He has published more than a hundred papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
    Training, qualifications and accreditation as an expert witness
    Professor Allen-Mersh initially attended a Bond Solon Expert Witness Training Course in 1994. He was a founder member of the Expert Witness Institute in 1996. He is a member of the Faculty of Expert Witnesses for Doctors. He is an associate member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), with whom he has 1st tier 2 star expert witness listing. He has regularly attended teaching and update conferences on personal injury assessment and medico-legal practice. He has given invited talks on various aspects of gastrointestinal conditions at the annual meetings of AVMA and APIL. He attended the Specialist Info Advanced Medico-Legal Course in June 2015, and the APIL legal training course for expert witnesses in October 2020.
