Appointments for medicolegal examinations

Currently there is a 5-6 week waiting list for appointments, and reports can be provided within 2-3 weeks of the appointment date.

Liability & causation reports can be prepared within 6 weeks of receipt of all documentation.

Recent courses attended

Professor Allen-Mersh attended a course on “Emergency General Surgery” at the Royal Society of Medicine in January 2021.

Professor Allen-Mersh attended a “virtual course in proctology” at the European Colorectal Congress in November 2020.

 

Appointments for medico-legal cases

During the Coronavirus lockdown, there has been a high demand for condition & prognosis reports. Professor Allen-Mersh is still seeing Claimants at the Cromwell Hospital in London, but remote examinations are often being arranged by telephone with good results. Home visits can also be arranged with an additional fee for travel costs.

Currently there is a 6 week waiting list for appointments, and reports can be provided within 2-3 weeks of the appointment taking place.

Liability & causation reports can be prepared within 6 weeks of receipt of all documentation, as usual.
